Patch 4.2.1: Balance Fixes and Game Engine Improvements

The engineering team has applied critical fixes to improve server stability and overall game performance. Patch 4.2.1 addresses several high-priority issues reported by the community.

Class Balance Changes

  • Warrior — Stunning Blow damage reduced by 8% to address dominance in PvP scenarios.
  • Mage — Fireball mana cost adjusted from 45 to 52. Frost Nova duration reduced by 0.5 seconds.
  • Rogue — Evasion cooldown increased from 28s to 35s. Backstab critical hit chance reduced by 5%.
  • Ranger — Arrow Volley damage increased by 12% to compensate for previous over-nerfs.

Dungeon Fixes

  • Fixed a bug preventing access to the Dark Citadel final boss under specific party compositions.
  • Catacomb chest loot tables corrected — previously dropping incorrect tier items.
  • The Sunken Fortress underwater sections no longer cause invisible collision issues.

Performance Improvements

  • 15% reduction in memory usage in high-density player zones (cities, raid staging areas).
  • Fixed random disconnections occurring in 40-player raids during the 3rd boss encounter.
  • Particle effect rendering optimized — expected 8-12% FPS improvement in combat-heavy scenes.
  • Loading times for the Northern Reach zone reduced by approximately 20%.

Known Issues

We are aware of a visual glitch affecting cloaks on female character models in the new armor sets. A hotfix targeting this issue is scheduled for later this week.

Thank you for your continued feedback and patience. The Reborns engineering team reads every report.
